I am writing to express my deepest thanks to one of you Sleep Country Supervisor's Penny Jerkovic. Ms. Jerkovic is definitely focused in representing Sleep Country by ensuring that all of its customers receive service that goes beyond their expectations.
more Sleep Country was about to loose me as a customer, a customer who had been referred by a history of family and friends who were also customers of Sleep Country. Although I had misplaced my warranty information, I did still have a label attached to our bed with Sleep Country information on it, including order/delivery date, manufacture, Sleep Country address information and a SKU number, however this was not enough for the store. A few letters/comments went unanswered for several months and then I came in contact with Ms. Jerkovic. Ms Jerkovic was focused on finding my customer profile, getting in touch with the technician that attended my home, providing detailed follow ups on my matter and being extremely pleasant during a time when I could have been difficult. Ms. Jerkovic definitely brought me back as a customer; this is what customer service is all about!
As a customer I look for many things but the most important is the type of service I receive. When I had not received the service that was expected from Sleep Country, I took the time to write a complaint, I was on a path to ensure that everyone was aware about my experience. As the old saying goes, "you never get a second chance to make a first impression", well this statement is particularly true especially in business; Ms. Jerkovic changed this statement when she fist apologized, listened intently to what I was saying, took quick action, provided continuous follow-ups and resolved my matter. I feel that it's equally important to now write a letter informing Sleep Country that I am their customer because of Ms. Jerkovic.
Dear Ms Magee,
I write as a recent purchaser of a mattress set from your Mississauga store (Dundas & Cawthra). The purchase was easy, as promised, no hassle, warm advice, and a good deal. That's always the easy part, from my point of view. The difficult part is all too often the delivery; once the deal is done, Many stores seem to lose interest. Not Sleep Country Canada. I received the telephone call, as promised, between 8am and 9am on delivery day. Delivery was promised between noon and 3pm that day. At 2pm the truck was downstairs, and by 2:15pm two clean and courteous young men had carried the bed set into my apartment.
more Unless you have spent a week commuting between two apartments during the phase of transition, it is difficult to convey some of the hassles that can rise through broken promises. Sleep Country Canada has shown itself to be superior in post delivery service.
What more could one ask? Only this: that you convey my thanks to the delivery department that impresses me so much in sticking to its promises. To my mind your commercial announcements do not advertise this level of service enough! I shall do my part to alleviate the deficiency by telling my friends about Sleep Country Canada's delivery service!

Actually, I do not feel that I am writing a business letter but rather a letter to a friend. It is sooooo refreshing in this day and age of technology to feel as if you have received the personal touch. From the moment I walked into the store until I received my delivery I felt that your advertisement was more than you claim. I felt part of a team that wanted to ensure that I received complete satisfaction. I dealt with a team where each member was an integral part of the complete package.
more Chris was very knowledgeable, friendly and I didn't feel pressured. I was given all the time I needed to test each bed to make sure I was choosing the right mattress for my needs. When Kevin phoned me with my 3 hour window they were earlier than they said. (And oh yes, those little booties,...Kevin even pointed out to one of the guys that his was falling off. Impressive!) Unfortunately, my transaction didn't go smoothly. I ordered complete sets of box springs and mattresses for 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. Upon delivery, I got 3 double box springs instead. Even though I told Kevin that I wasn't in a hurry for the twin box springs, he insisted that what I ordered I would get today. He phoned all around to see if he could get me what I ordered but to no avail. So he drove to the nearest store and I have loaners until I receive what I ordered.
My delivery date was the day after the big snow fall, Fri Mar. 2nd. When they arrived I was outside shoveling my driveway. After they left I went back outside to resume shoveling and I found that my driveway was finished. My neighbor was outside shoveling his driveway so I thanked him for finishing mine. He informed me that one of the Sleep Country guys finished it. So thanks to either Brad or Scott for going above and beyond the call of duty.
I firmly believe in Public Relations and also believe that a lot of business is obtained from satisfied customers. I have been "good-mouthing" your company to everyone I can and I am so in awe of the personalized attention and feeling of complete satisfaction that I have received. Be assured that I will only be buying mattress sets from Sleep Country from now on. So, thank-you Christine for living up to your advertisement.
